What started as a simple curiosity & interest has become a significant part of my life. I don't work in the food industry, for me this is simply a hobby / way of living / happiness. I'm an actuary by day (not the typical foodie profile I’m sure), but whenever I find a gap you’ll find me experimenting in the kitchen. This is my platform to share what I learn and discover in my own kitchen, in and around Joburg or whilst travelling. Hope you enjoy, thanks for visiting! 


My 1 simple blog rule:
Us food bloggers gets sent products & ingredients from time to time or get invited to fancy events now and again. Wherever I feature such products, restaurants or functions on my blog, it is because I was really impressed by it. When I receive products that don't impress me I simply don't write about it.
